Death Metal Night in Firchie Think Tank Studio with Five Bands – Review and Photos

Novosadski ljubetlji Death Metala su, u noći 11. Novembra, imali prilike da uživaju u čak 5 (pet!) stranih bendova u Firchie Think Tank Studio-u. Malo je reći da je svaki bend oduvao! Svirka je prošla bez ikakvih incidenata, uz fenomenalno ozvučenje i odlično osvetljenje.
Prvi su nastupili bugarski Grimaze, i uz nažalost dotad malobrojnu publiku,imali veoma energičan i živ nastup. Njihov fazon bih opisao kao Death Metal, sa primesama progesive, uz sjajne vokale pevača Pavela.
Drugi bend bio je Dehydrated, koji nam je došao iz dalekog Sibira. Totalno glasni i totalno divlji, uprkos problemima sa ozvučenjem,oduvali su, a pogotovo su ostali upečatljivi pevačica Ira, sa svojim sjajnim vokalom i energijom i njihov sjajni basista, Evgeni.
Nakon tog nastupa, industrial bend Thy Disease, koji je možda i najviše odudarao. Njihov zvuk bih opisao kao progresivan, trzački i izuzetno brz, ali nekako nisu uspeli doći do izražaja, kao da se malo štedelo na njihovom zvuku, iako su priredili sjajnu svirku.
Nakon njih, nastupili su Hatesphere, koji su,uz stare stvari svirali i hitove sa svog novog, desetog albuma Reduced to Flesh. Ovi Danci sviraju Death Metal već skoro više od 17 godina i drže se svog fazona, što se vidi i na njihovim novim stvarima. Glasno, odlično složeno i fantastično. Posebno bih naglasio njihove ubojite rifove. Ekipa je stvarno bila sjajna, a publika je totalno podivljala uz šutku, kakvu ranije nisam nigde video.
Poslednji je nastupio, headliner večeri, Decapitated, koji je opravdao svoj kultni status. Ovaj bend nam dolazi iz Poljske, a svirali su pesme sa aktuelnog albuma “Anticult“ i bukvalno su zvučali identično kao sa CD-a. Uvežbani, glasni i do kraja energični, oduvali su publiku koja je tražila bis.
FIRCHIE DEATH METAL NIGHT
On the night of 11th of November, five bands played at Firchie Think Tank Studio. And each one of them ROCKED! The gig went on without any incidents and had amazing sounds and lights atmosphere.
Grimaze, the band from Bulgaria, played first, unfortunately in front of a small crowd. But non the less, their performance was very energetic and lively. I’d classify them as a Death Metal band with a little bit of progressive moments.
The second band was Dehydrated from Siberia/Russia. Loud and wild, despite the sound failures, these guys gave us an awesome gig. Especially remarkable were the energetic singer Ira and their bass player Evgeni.
After that, an industrial band Thy Disease came on stage. And these guys somehow were jumping out from the rest of the bands. They sounded fast and progressive, but somehow I was left with an impression that they didn`t reach their full potential, even though their performance was amazing.
The fourth band was Hatesphere, and these guys presented their newest album named “Reduced to Flesh“. These Danish guys have been into Death Metal for at least 17 years, and they are holding onto their style. Loud, perfectly combined and fantastic, but what truly struck me were their amazing riffs. These guys rocked, and the audience went totally beserk, making the most furious wall of death I’ve ever seen.
Last but definitely not least were the headliners Decapacitated. This band comes from Poland and played their newest songs from their latest album “Anticult”. And these guys literally sound like on their album. Awesome, loud and well prepared to the very end, made audience go completly crazy and cheer for a repeated songs.
